Maple Brandy Apple Butter
Using a mix of apples, including one of our very favorites, Sweet 16, we slow roast the apples and cook them down with very dark maple syrup, dark brown sugar and brandy (which brings ALL the neighbors to our kitchen door). The smell is perfectly autumnal, and the taste will have you eating it straight from the jar. Probably.
